What is Shellac?
Shellac is a gel polish that is applied to your nail and then cured in a UV lamp. It's applied like nail polish (in several layers) and wears just like gel. It comes off in minutes - easier than it went on.
We stock all the Shellac colours at Polished Beauty. It can be applied to your fingers or toes and to natural or acrylic nails. Shellac does not include Formaldehyde, Toluene or DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate).
Shellac was developed and tested for the hazards of daily wear. It should last up to 14 days and we recommend you then come back in to have it refilled. After about 14 days you will start to notice the nail growth at the cuticle and it won't have any Shellac on it.
